Tanja van den Akker, an author of the Principles chapter for PRINCE2 V7, describes her experience of being approached to contribute to the new version of PRINCE2. She was contacted by John Edmonds, whom she knew from a previous course, who inquired if she was interested in a writing opportunity. Although she is an experienced writer and expressed interest, the details of the project were initially kept confidential. She had to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) without knowing the exact nature of the project she was committing to. It was only after signing the NDA that she learned the project was about creating a new version of PRINCE2, which she found thrilling, despite the initial mystery surrounding it.
